Wilhelm Boger

Question:

Can you tell me the fate of the infamous sadist, Wilhelm Boger, of Auschwitz. He developed the toture device that became known as "The Boger Swing." I believe he was tried and convicted at an Auschwitz Trial in Germany, but I wonder what is fate was after his conviction. Thank You.

Hi, I am one of the volunteers who answers these questions.

Boger was sentenced to 5 life sentences for his actions at Auschwitz at the "Auschwitz Trial" in Frankfurt am Main in 1965.

According to Wikipedia:

He died in the prison at Bietigheim-Bissingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany on April 3, 1977, 19 years after his arrest and trial.
